In the West Riding County Challenge Cup Linthwaite Athletic moved into the quarterfinals following a fine 2-0 win over Beeston St Anthonys from the West Yorkshire League Premier Division. Nathan Wadsworth and Jacob Waterson scoring the goals.

In the Huddersfield and District FA Challenge Cup Deighton knocked out Golcar United Reserves from the Yorkshire Amateur League Premier Division, winning 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.

Following Kirklees Council's decision to cancel all games on council owned fields the League and FA has taken the decision to postpone all games.

A determined Newsome took a point at Berry Brow with a disciplined performance in a 0-0 draw. With Linthwaite Athletic not playing Deighton returned to the top of the Premier Division with a 7-0 win over injury hit Dalton Hotel.

Lawal Lawal hit a hattrick as Berry Brow went top of the Premier Division in a 7-2 win over Shepley. Luke Gibson, Tom Brown and substitute Kyle Walton also scored for the Brow and Sam Haigh and Jack Goring scored for Shepley.

The much-anticipated top of division 1 clash between Berry Brow and Holmbridge took place on Saturday. A healthy crowd gathered in the drizzle at the Bernabrow to see a tight game with the Brow coming out 3-1 winners.
