Soldiers Return Div 1 Champions

Republic of Chineham had to settle for Runners-up spot in Division 1 after they were narrowly beaten 3-4 at home by Tron on Sunday. That's four points that Tron had taken off Republic of Chineham this season. Tron's goal scorers were a brace from Ciani Thomas and one each from John Sayd and David Parry.

Champions Soldiers Return will contest the All Champions Cup with Saturday champions Basingstoke Royals on Sunday 10 May at 11am at Winklebury.

In Division 2 Chineham were beaten 2-6 by UWS. James Handley and Ashley Ridyard netted for Chineham. Darren Head scored four for UWS, in addition to singles from Chris Raleigh and Chris Rowe as UWS achieve the league treble over Chineham. Runners-up is still to be decided in that division.
