Sleaford Sports Amateurs went to the top of the pile thanks to a convincing win over Brigg Town’s Development Squad.
Goal difference separates them and Grimsby Borough Academy, who beat CGB Humbertherm 4-0.
Both leapfrogged Horncastle Town who were on county cup duty.
Nettleham climbed into fifth place with a tidy win over AFC Boston, while Wyberton and Skegness Town fought out a goalless draw at The Causeway.
Ruston Sports beat Horncastle Town by the odd goal in three to progress into the third round of the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup.
Sleaford Sports Amateurs 5 Brigg Town Development Squad 1
A Liam Tunstall hat-trick helped Amateurs to climb to the top of the league.
Nathan Thompson gave them the lead before a Tunstall volley made the score 2-0.
Tunstall’s header ensured that Amateurs went into the half time break with a three-goal advantage.
Thompson scored his second to make it 4-0 early in the second half before Tunstall completed his hat-trick.
Sports were even credited with scoring the visitors’ consolation goal.
Grimsby Borough Academy 4 CGB Humbertherm 0
On a day dominated by home sides, Grimsby Borough Academy consolidated their second place in the table with a comfortable win over Fulstow-based CGB Humbertherm.
Jacob Wilson’s first half brace gave Borough a two-goal cushion at the break before Connor Southern made it 3-0 ten minutes into the second half.
Eight minutes from the end Kirk Wheeler wrapped things up for the home side.
Nettleham 2 AFC Boston 0
Two goals from Jonathan Wiles sealed three points for Nettleham at home to AFC Boston.
The victory consolidated their fifth place in the league table ahead of another tough test at home to Horncastle on Saturday.
Victory against Horncastle could lift the Nettles to the top of the league if other results go their way.
Wyberton 0 Skegness Town 0
Champions Skegness Town were held to a scoreless draw at Wyberton, who finished the game with ten men.
New signing Reece Skinner received his marching orders after 30 minutes, following a clash with Town’s Alex Nichols.
The villagers then battled to protect the point, which consolidated their seventh place in there league table.

Ruston Sports 2 Horncastle Town 1
Ruston Sports may be bottom of the Lincolnshire League and still waiting for their first league win, but they progressed to the third round of the county cup with victory over joint leaders Horncastle Town.
Alex Mackinder and Lewis Smith were on target for the Sports.
Horncastle’s goal was netted by skipper Chris Johnson.
