RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

Goals from Dan Boydon, Joe McTighe and Dylan Sandhu saw Oadby Owls defeat Friar Lane & Epworth 3-0. It took penalties to separate Leicester Nirvana and Ashby Ivanhoe after they played out a 4-4 draw in 90 minutes and it was Nirvana who went through 5-4. Dion Potter (3) and Taylor Dolby for Nirvana with Reece Hughes (3) and Alex Ford for Ashby.

All other ties were postponed due to the inclement weather

NORTHERN DIVISION

Heather St Johns’ Development moved into 2nd spot after recording a 4-1 victory over Desford with Jack Dilks, Kaine Duncan, Theo Nimblette and Marley Spencer scoring. Desfords’ reply coming from Harrison Kent.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Allexton & New Parks JFC remained in top spot after a convincing 9-3 victory over Blaby & Whetstone Athletic with Carlos Rodriguez (5), Kane Barrs, Reece Lefley, Cain Beckett and Oshi Hackett London scoring. Blabys’ replies coming from Zach Staton (2) and Sam Shenton. Harborough Town continue to climb up the table with a 3-0 away victory over Carib Sports & Social with the goals coming from Josh King (2) and Oliver Gilbert. Aylestone Park remain in 2nd spot as they had a 2-0 victory over FC GNG with Jake Wormleighton and Filip Zmyslony grabbing the goals.
