Under 16's in the county play tri-festival

The Under 16 league has encountered a number of issues this season, most notably the weather ! (Which has affected a great deal of football this season).

Crown Newlaithes and Crown Newlaithes Pinks got some action recently in a friendly tri-festival against Ibis of Kendal. The fixtures were played in great spirit with all girls getting involved in the matches. The girls got plenty of playing time, with a local female referee officiating throughout the day.

As the U16 league is small this season, friendly fixtures against other teams has been encouraged with the more games the teams can play the better.
