Managers to print out match cards. To be sent to divisional secretary by 6pm of the day the game.
Match Card
The league have introduced new match cards for this season, A HOME team match card and an AWAY team match card. Each manager completes their own card and is responsible for sending their copy to the divisional secretary by the end of the day.
DO NOT exchange your card with opposition manager or referee.
Each manager should also acquire and include referee details on their match card for Track and Trace use.
• Photo ID
ID sheets are still required inline with league byelaw to be checked prior to kick off.
Players must be socially distanced on the halfway Line to enable checks to be carried out.
The league is offering a number of options for the use of ID sheets.
1. Paper copy (not laminated).
Once handed to the opposition manager, must not be handed back. The receiving manager to destroy, this can be pitch side, for example to be torn up in view of team manager and to be disposed of after the game or can put in an envelope and handed back.
2. Paper copy (laminated).
ID cards can be swapped with opposition manager prior to Kick Off, precautions can be put in place, wiped before handing to opposition and wiped again once handed back, disposable gloves can be worn and the use of sanitising gel can also be used.
3. Electronic copy (phone or tablet).
This must be a downloaded PDF file, must not be shown via the WGS. The phone/tablet can be swapped with the opposition manager prior to kick off, precautions can be put in place, wiped the device before handing to opposition and wiped again once handed back, disposable gloves can be worn and the use of sanitising gel can also be used.
If you do not wish to hand your device to opposition or you do not wish to receive the device, hold at arms length and the use face masks is advisable and to social distance to a minimum of 1 metre apart.
4. Email copy.
To email your player ID sheet to the opposition manager 48 hrs prior to kick off.
If a team doesn’t provide an ID team sheet prior to the game using one of the above methods, the usual byelaw rule will apply; there is no excuse for IDs not to be checked.
• Referee Payments.
Payments can be cash, each team manager to place money in an envelope before handing to the referee and prior to the game.
Payments can be made electronically if agreed with the referee
• ‘Respect’ Handshake.
There is to be no respect handshake before or after the game. It is not advised to elbow pump either, we need to encourage and avoid all unnecessary contact.
• ‘Respect’ Barriers.
The ‘respect’ barrier must be run the full length of the pitch to provide the maximum space for spectators social distancing. It should be placed 3 metres back from the touchline (where possible) to allow social distancing for the linesperson.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT ANY USED DISPOSABLE MASKS AND/OR GLOVES ARE NOT DROPPED ON THE FLOOR AND LEFT BEHIND, THEY MUST BE TAKEN AWAY AND DISPOSED OF CORRECTLY.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE AND PROTOCOL OF THE VENUE YOU ARE VISITING, EACH WILL BE DIFFERENT.

Are you a qualified referee and have time to spare on Saturday and Sunday mornings and want to make a difference for U7s to U16s players and help them understand the game and fair play.
