Congratulations to Deportivo Love Corona, who sealed the Division A title in style on Sunday with an impressive 6-2 win against their nearest rivals Notso Athletic. After Brutal Delux picked up a walkover win this left them level on points in 2nd place, but Notso Athletics remaining fixtures are all walkover wins, while Brutal Delux have 3 competitive games left and would need to make up a 39 goal, goal difference. With this in mind Brutal Delux have elected instead to wrap things up in Division A as they stand, take a week off and then start the new season a week on Sunday. Wire FC continued their good run of form with a resounding 7-2 win against Sparta Kragg while Currys, Mild Jams FC & Alf Ramsey Porn Dungeon all picked up walkover wins.
In Division B, the top two lined up against each other in what turned out to be a cracking game of football. In the end, the league leaders and Champions Elect, Classic Eagle edged it 3-2 against Inter Herass to extend their lead at the top of the table to an insurmountable 11 points with 3 games remaining. Springfield OAPs picked up three points with an impressive 4-0 win against Ajax Treesdown and can still, mathematically, snatch second place in the league but if Inter Herass win this week all issues will be resolved. To round up the week, Yourmums Athletic had a solid 2-0 win against The Titans, Ditton came out 3-0 winners against Deportivo Lackatalent, Barcaboner beat SFM 4-2 & Widnes Chemics picked up a walkover win.
Division C, had already been concluded. Congratulations to our Division C Champions FC Runcorn and our Runners Up, Sankey Rangers.
