At the HDJGFL AGM in July, the committee explained that the league were creating some less formal 'gala' events at ages U7 to U11 utilising a sub committee made up of David Terzza and Mike Collier.

How it will work :-
U7s to U10s will be Gala football only throughout 2016-17 season.
U11s will still have league scheduled fixtures plus a Tournament, as Clubs requested at AGM. With additional (less frequent) galas to reach out to all clubs in the area, to introduce the league & attract new members.

The first gala will be hosted at Scotton Scorchers on Saturday 3rd September and at that gala we will update you on the plans for the season ahead and how we will operate the galas.

The main change is that rather than fixtures we would like clubs to take a turn to host a gala. It may be that your club can host all age groups or just one. Please give this some thought and come along on the 3rd with details of what your club could facilitate. We hope to have a gala each month (with perhaps December and January indoors)

At Scotton on the 3rd September we plan to host teams at the following age groups

U7/8
U9/10
U10/11
