FA YOUTH CUP
Ashby Ivanhoe suffered a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Belper Town.
Leicester Nirvana travelled to take on Dunkirk and were defeated 5-2 with Dion Potter bagging both. Anstey Nomads were also on their travels to take on Long Eaton United and fell at the first hurdle suffering a heavy 9-4 defeat. Finley Jones, Corey Arment, Ethan Ballantine and Freddie Robinson for the Nomads.
Both Aylestone Park and Harborough Town are in the hat for the next round as they both overcame strong opposition. Aylestone had a 3-2 home win over Grantham Town with Harry Sheffield (2) and Jake Wormleighton scoring and Harborough had a 5-2 victory over fellow Leicestershire side, Leicester Road with Langley Voss (3), Alfie Harris and James Lawton finding the back of the net.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Allexton & New Parks Eagles shared the points in a 0-0 draw. Gresley and Heather St Johns also shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Harry Collins for Gresley with Marley Spencer replying for Heather. Coalville Town Ravens suffered a 3-1 home defeat by Allexton & New Parks Hawks. Ben Jones scoring for the Ravens with Jay Broome, Aeran Johnson and Joseph Smalley on target for the Hawks.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Allexton & New Parks early form saw them record a 4-1 home victory over Blaby & Whetstone Athletic with goals from Cain Beckett, Carlos Rodrigues, Harry Bradley and Sam Gudgeon. Regan Lawrence with Blabys’ consolation. Oadby Owls and Lutterworth Athletic shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Jordan Clarke for the Owls with Dean Dales replying for the Athos.
