Wednesday 1/5/24
Heswall with goals from Liam Grealis and Joel Robinson pulled off a 2-0 result over fellow Division One strugglers Ellesmere Port Town, which saw the Port return to bottom spot, but should Heswall and the Port each win one of their remaining fixtures, Vauxhall Motors Res. will be relegated.
Elsewhere in the top flight, efforts from Jack Ward and Josh Daily anchored Marshalls to a 2-0 win over Chester Nomads. Adil Mohammed's solitary strike earned Mossley Hill Ath. Despite a goal from Joe Summers, Aintree Villa Res., came up short against Maghull Res. who posted a 3-1 result thanks to replies from Nathan Moffitt (2) and Will Hoey.
