There is too much use of foul and abusive and swear words being used at football venues, especially Lansdown PF and Odd Down PF, which are open to members of the general public and clubs and players are asked to moderate their language.
The League has received complaints about the use of inappropriate language by teams, be it their players, team officials or spectators and the League is looking to address this. All people associated with teams are reminded that their teams have signed out to the FA Respect Code of Conduct and that this commitment should be honoured by all.
FIFA Laws of the Game are very clear about what action should be taken against people who breach Rule 12. Rule 12 clearly states that
A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits the following offence:
using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
and that anyone doing so should receive the appropriate punishment from the match official.
