Bath-based charity Mentoring Plus seeks sporty male mentors, interested?
Bath League has been approached to see if there are some people playing football in Bath League who would consider training to be a mentor. Mentoring Plus (http://www.mentoringplus.net/) is a Bath based charity that trains adult volunteer mentors and pairs them with vulnerable 12-21 year olds across BANES.
One of Heritage United's players, Jamie Luck, is the director of the charity and Heritage this season have Mentoring Plus on their shirts in an effort to raise the charity's profile.
One of the charity's focuses at present is to recruit more working-age, sporty male mentors for the teenage boys referred to it, and as football brings together a very large group of people who meet this criteria, it would be great if anyone wants to accept what would be a challenging but rewarding opportunity.
Please email volunteering@mentoringplus.net for more information or call the charity on 01225 429694.
