In the first round of the cup competition Ferry Rangers had a comfortable 7-0 win over Widnes FC while FC Presa ran out 7-1 winners in their game against Fat FC and Kiev were unlucky losing out 6-4 to Kiev. Burtonwood had a comfortable 3-1 victory against BWFC while FC Xabi had a superb 10-1 win over Doug FC and Socrates beat Borussia Boots 7-0. The Penketh Select had a 3-1 win against Copa Mundial while Villa FC were unlucky after a close 3-2 defeat against Ford and Left Luggage ran out 3-0 winners in their game against Total FC. San Antonio Athletic qualified for the winners cup after a 7-1 win over Real Misfits while Norfolk N Chance lost out 8-4 to Metro Stars and Real Madras had a great 7-5 win against GS Lazio.
