League Data Protection Policy and Privacy Policy
The new data protection law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is coming into force on 25 May this year (2018). The GDPR will replace the Data Protection Act 1998 in its entirety and will, from 25 May 2018, regulate the processing of personal data in the UK.
The two attached documents are:
1. The League's Data Protection Policy, which will aid the League in understanding how to deal with data protection matters internally.
2. The League's Privacy Policy which sets out in generic terms how the League will collect and use data.
As our League relies on an FA system, for example Whole Game System (WGS) or FullTime, The FA will ensure that FA systems meet requirements on information security and will also update the associated online terms and privacy notices in accordance with the GDPR. In addition, The FA will make sure that contracts are in place with any relevant software providers and with other footballing stakeholders as needed under the regulation.
If you unsure about any of the content of the League policies or how we process your data please contact the League Secretary.
